It is manufactured in the US by a custom steel fabricator that's been around since 1947, yes 1947. We love to support US manufacturers whenever possible assuming it makes sense for the application. Their products are a result of listening to feedback from Outfitters and Guides when it comes to what makes a durable camping stove used in the wild.
The two burner, 16" and 18" wide stove is popular due to how compact it is and it's half the weight of the four burner. It also has a windscreen available, which prevents your flame from going out. The other thing to think about the design, is it's flat and rectangular making it easy to pack around. Now you can squeeze in that extra item!
